Top Rock Walk

Take part in a spectacular walk to the very top of Bullswool Farm. The Rock offers extensive views out over the Hauraki Plains and towards the foothills of Auckland. Don’t forget to bring your camera!

Bush Discovery Walk

Learn about some of NZ’s beautiful native trees, birds, and aquatic life on our Bush Discovery Walk, a loop trail through the Karangahake Native Bird Reserve. The Reserve also has a replica miner’s camp, set up to tell the story of the Karangahake Gorge’s first miners.

Play Paddock

Our amazing Play Paddock was designed and built by award-winning sculptor Tony Howse. Full of imagination, creativity and play for children of all ages. It’s an unforgettable part of every child’s visit to Bullswool Farm.

Heritage Museum

Explore several museums, including our Sheep Shearing Shed Museum, Early New Zealand Milking Shed, Working Horses of NZ Museum, Outdoor Farm Machinery Display and much more. No matter your interests, there’s something for everyone to see and do.

Farm Park

We offer an unforgettable hands-on rural experience, set in beautiful farmland. Follow the walking tracks and get up close to our many rare-breed farm animals. All are friendly and can be touched or petted. It’s an authentic, unmissable Kiwi rural adventure.

Bullswool Farm offers an authentic taste of Kiwi farm life and is one of New Zealand's most beloved and iconic rural experiences.

With a diverse and interesting array of rare-breed farm animals, several working farm museums, outdoor displays, and an award-winning Native Bird Reserve, there’s something for everyone to see, do and discover. We are located at the gateway to the Coromandel Peninsula, close to Hobbiton and the Hauraki Rail Trail, and a great halfway stop between Auckland Airport and Rotorua. We are also an easy day trip from Auckland, Hamilton and Tauranga.

A magical day for the kids!

We visited Bullswoof Farm Park during our road trip through the Coromandel, and it was hands-down the kids’ favorite stop. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome. The interactive animal areas were a huge hit — my youngest couldn’t stop talking to the goats! The wooden play structures were imaginative and safe, and the mini bike track kept them entertained for ages. It’s rare to find a place that blends nature, play, and kindness so beautifully.
